A brand built block by block.
Block Coaching needed an identity that reflected its philosophy as much as its name. We developed a complete brand system where every element -- from the logo to the guidelines -- is built from a single foundational idea.

The Brief
A coaching gym with a philosophy worth designing around.
Block is built on a simple idea. Progress happens block by block, through consistency and structure, not shortcuts or noise. The brief was to build a brand that made that philosophy visible -- something that looked serious, premium, and completely unlike the orange and neon world of most fitness brands.
We were given complete creative freedom. The direction was clear from the first conversation. Monochrome. Considered. Confident. A brand that earns attention rather than demanding it.

The Work
Every element of the identity has a reason for existing.
The BLOCK wordmark is the centrepiece of the identity. A negative space block shape cut into the B and O becomes the foundational form that informs every other letter -- the same curve, the same proportion, repeated and modified throughout. The logo is the philosophy made typographic. One foundational principle, applied consistently, across every letter.
The colour palette is pure black and white, with a considered grey scale. The restraint is deliberate. Where competitors use colour to signal energy and approachability, BLOCK uses the absence of it to signal focus, discipline, and seriousness of purpose.
The full brand system covers typography, imagery direction, logo variants, whitespace rules, and brand executions across print, digital, and merchandise.

The Outcome
A complete brand system that thinks as clearly as it looks.
BLOCK now has a visual identity that does what the coaching does -- strips away the noise and focuses on what matters. The brand guidelines give the business everything it needs to grow consistently, from gym signage to social content to merchandise.
The work demonstrates that considered design doesn't need colour or complexity to command attention. It just needs a clear idea, applied with precision.
